WORLD ENERGY WEEK

World Energy Week 2025 brought together the World Energy Council’s global community alongside energy leaders, policymakers, and innovators, to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and showcase practical, actionable and impactful solutions as we build a better energy future for all.

Co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the National Secretariat of Energy of Panama, the event transformed Panama City into a global stage for dialogue and collaboration. Set against the country’s unique location as a bridge between regions and a hub for global trade, the week showcased how diverse perspectives can drive collective progress in an increasingly interconnected yet fragmented world.

World Energy Week 2025 celebrated the power of collaboration and the importance of connection in shaping a more sustainable energy future.

We are pleased to share an important and exciting update to World Energy Week, which is evolving to enhance its relevance, accessibility and value for Member Committees and stakeholders. From 2027 it will be known as World Energy Impact. 

This evolution reflects the Council’s commitment to being the world’s most inclusive and impactful energy community, creating greater opportunity and visibility for our collective voice in the global energy dialogue. It is designed to:

• Facilitate a stronger, more energised and more active member community
• Deliver more frequent, geographically diverse and accessible touchpoints to sustain community engagement year-round
• Offer a more compelling and commercially attractive platform for hosts, sponsors, partners and other stakeholders
• Increase visibility and value for Member Committees, within both national and regional ecosystems and on the global stage

World Energy Impact 2027

We are delighted to announce Türkiye as host of the October edition of World Energy Impact in 2027.
