Aditya Iyer

Aditya is a Senior Manager in the Communications and Engagement team at the Council. His primary responsibility is supporting the Secretary General and CEO in her external engagements and media interviews, as well as maximising the impact of the Council's work and wider community across external channels, including press and events.

Prior to joining the Global Secretariat, Aditya worked as a communications and events officer in the British public sector, and spent nearly a decade as a journalist both in India and in the UK reporting on politics and environment affairs. He currently also works as an independent art and culture journalist writing for global media organisations.

He has a BA in History from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Empires, Colonialism, and Globalisation from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and speaks English, Tamil, and Hindi.
