Ana Laura Gonzalez Perez is an Intern for the World Energy Council’s Insights Team. She contributes to the Council’s analysis by working with survey data related to the energy sector, supporting the development of insights that inform global energy decision-making.

With a background in environmental engineering from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a Master’s in natural resources management from TH Köln, Ana Laura has experience in working within the private energy sector, research, and international organisations, including the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), where she worked on Long-Term Energy Scenarios.
