Dr. Norbert Schwieters

Based in Dusseldorf, Germany Dr. Norbert Schwieters led PwC's global energy, utilities, and resources group from 2012 – 2020, where he was a partner from 1996 onwards. Most of that time he worked with clients, institutions and regulators within the energy and resources industry providing professional services throughout the sector.

Since retiring from his career at PwC, Dr. Schwieters has continued to work within the energy and resources sector.

Furthermore, as an Honorary Professor for Accounting and Auditing at his Alma Mater, Ruhr-University of Bochum, North-Rhine Westphalia in Germany, Dr. Schwieters is dedicating his time to holding courses in financial reporting, corporate governance and finance for Bachelor and Master students.
