Toshi Ohashi

Toshi serves as the Regional Manager for Asia and Asia Pacific and Senior Regional Advisor at the World Energy Council. In these roles, he focuses on enhancing the council’s member committees across the regions and fostering opportunities for patrons and partners.

Before joining the World Energy Council in 2023, Toshi spent over a decade developing investment opportunities both domestically and internationally in Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and its subsidiary. He began his career at TEPCO in 1991, manly specializing in power and energy sector consulting. During this time, he collaborated with utilities, governmental bodies, and development institutions such as JICA, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. From 2017 to 2020, Toshi served as Principal Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.
