ELECTROMOBILITY: The regulatory framework and premises for the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure

Hosted by the World Energy Council Romania

The event takes place on-site, on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, at Petrom City, Bucharest, Romania.

Event Description:

In the current conditions of the electric power system, it is necessary to analyze the energy and environmental performance of electric cars compared to classic cars. The increase in the share of electric cars has highlighted their advantages but also some problems that limit their performance: the insufficient number of charging stations, the long charging time, the still reduced autonomy, and solving problems related to heating, cooling, and ventilation of the car. It is necessary to optimize charging stations which, through their specific structure, can influence the performance of the electrical supply network. Future solutions to increase the attractiveness of electric mobility.
