The Spanish Committee of the World Energy Council (CECME), the Spanish Energy Club (ENERCLUB) and the Spanish Institute of Strategic Studies (IEEE) of the Spanish Ministry of Defence, are organizing the online presentation of the eighth edition of the publication "Energy and Geostrategy", that will take place on 27th May at 9.30AM. This event is sponsored by Repsol, as main sponsor, and by Cepsa.
Speakers include:
- Antonio Brufau, Chairman of Repsol;
- Iñigo Díaz de Espada, President of CECME;
- María Victoria Zingoni, President of ENERCLUB,
- Juan Francisco Martínez, Admiral and Secretary-General for Defence Policy, Spanish Ministry of Defence.
The authors of the study and its coordinator, the former Spanish Minister of Industry, Claudio Aranzadi, will analyse the topics addressed in this 2021 edition of the publication, related to the impact of COVID-19 in the energy transition, the European Green Deal, the Hydrogen, Rare Earths, and the Energy Geopolitics in the Maghreb. The event will also discuss the main issues of Geopolitics in the world with the participation of Francisco José Dacoba, Brigadier General and Director of the IEEE, and Víctor Baz, Deputy Director of International Relations of Repsol.
