On the 26th of November 2021, World Energy Council/Romanian National Committee in partnership with Future Energy Leaders Romania – FEL Romania, the youth program of the World Energy Council/Romanian National Committee, will organize an online conference, about “The HYDROGEN – A sustainable solution for the energy transition to climate neutrality”.
The Hydrogen could play a key role in strengthening Romania’s energy security by aligning the national energy mix with new European trends. Moreover, hydrogen responds to an important challenge for Romania namely the natural decline recorded by natural gas production. The Hydrogen vector is an energy carrier that solves very well the multiple aspects of Energy Storage, essentially contributin to the flattening of energy and natural gas consumption curves with the best possible flexibility. Some of the objectives of this conference are the attention on the area of research – innovation which has some important achievements in Romania, but much more sustained actions are needed, the production of clean, low-emission hydrogen from renewable or nuclear sources with pilot projects, highlighting the level of interest of the profile industry in relation to hydrogen, promoting the latest technologies associated with hydrogen, identifying investment opportunities in the context of Sustainable Development Operational Program, National Recovery and Resilience Plan and Modernization Fund.
Participation is free of charge and registration is now open here. The topics will be discussed in Romanian language.
