The NFEL Armenia is hosting a discussion about in-country value as a strategy in Oman energy sector with Mohammed AlAmri, Energy and Minerals Industries Localization Director, at the Ministry of Energy and Minerals in Oman and the NFEL Armenia co-founder Gaik Oganian.
Al Amri will talk about the importance of in-country value for each energy industry, not only oil and gas, the strategies and policies to enhance it. The Omani version of Local Content is known as In Country Value (ICV) and is defined as the total spend retained in country that benefits business development, contributes to human capability development and stimulates productivity in Oman's economy. "Our ICV in oil and gas can be a good example for any other sector for Armenian economy", says AlAmri.
