NFEL Uruguay Program

The NFEL Uruguay Program will make significant contributions at the "I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE: GREEN HYDROGEN AND CLIMATE RESILIENCE" on Tuesday, 19 September, 2023. NFEL's working groups, focusing on "Incentives for the Energy Sector" and "Decarbonization," will share their work.

The "Incentives for the Energy Sector" group will present an analysis of current incentives for electromobility, green hydrogen, and the circular economy.

The "Decarbonization" group will present a Technical Note on decarbonizing the agricultural sector through green hydrogen-based urea production. This discussion will highlight the importance of public-private collaboration for decarbonization. The NFEL Uruguay Program is expanding and exploring options such as accessing carbon credit markets and hydrogen production from manure in the future.
