Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week, is a prestigious international event that brings together key players and experts in the energy sector to address the challenges and opportunities of climate change and the transition to a sustainable energy future. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with partners, the event aims to set guidelines, make informed decisions, and promote corporate strategies, business development, and technological innovation aligned with the goals of the Energy Community Treaty, the Paris Agreement, and the Sofia Declaration.
The five-day program includes a diverse range of sessions and conferences, focusing on crucial topics such as just transition in coal-rich regions, energy transition, renewable energy, energy efficiency, digitalisation, circular economy, heating and cooling, and e-mobility.
Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive high-level discussions with over 1000 attendees from around the world, including high-ranking officials, ministers of energy, climate, and environment, representatives from EU institutions, government officials, academia, experts, investors, financiers, NGOs, media, and other stakeholders. The event will showcase and discuss the outcomes of international aid projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the broader region.
