On Wednesday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m. Yerevan time (GMT+4) the NFEL Armenia will host a presentation on Solar Thermal Energy: Technology and Applications for Armenia.
The worldwide potential of thermal solar energy is massive because the production of heat, both for residential and industrial purposes is the largest global energy use. The addressable market for the heat in these ranges of temperatures is 12 Exajoule (valued well above 1 trillion USD at current cost of energy) and consists in a wide range of operations such as residential heating, gas processing, pasteurization, bleaching, drying, boiling, water treatment, desalination, washing …
The presentation will be delivered by Silvio Sparano. Silvio is a senior professional with 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry both in the Upstream and the Downstream. Since May 2021 he is in charge of the development of the Oil & Gas business for TVP Solar, an innovative Swiss company in the industry of thermal solar energy. The presentation will be moderated by the co-founder and co-chair of the National Future Energy - Armenia Gaik Oganian.
After the presentation, we will have 30 minutes for discussion with the audience.
