Accelerating Clean Tech for Energy and Agriculture in SIDS: Enabling action for a Just Transition
The Secretary General of the Conseil Français de l’Énergie, Marie-Line Vaiani, who is also the Chair of the WFEO Committee on Energy, will intervene at an official side event during COP29:
The WFEO Working Group on Climate Change, in partnership with the Institution of Civil Engineers UK (ICE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) will present a side event at the UNFCCC COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, entitled “The global engineering view: delivering an equitable, sustainable and low carbon resilient world”, on Monday, 11 November at 4:45 – 6:15 PM GMT+4 (local time) / 1:45 – 3:15 PM CET.
Accelerating the deployment of clean tech solutions that enable equitable access to energy and support agricultural processes in small island states. Enabling action by harvesting knowledge of communities and expanding skills through capacity building to support the just transition.
