World Energy Council Instruments with the Particular Reference to the Energy Trilemma for 2024

Took place on Tuesday, 15 October 2024 at the National University Politehnica, Central Library, Bucharest, Romania.  

The annual event aimed to present the WEC Studies: World Energy Scenarios, World Issue Monitor, World Energy Trilemma Index 2024; dedicated to the energy transition by WEC/RNC focuses on the World Energy Trilemma Index 2024 and aims to collect the opinions of experts from the Energy Sector in Romania. On this basis, the Country Profile will be drawn up.

Event overview

In a dynamic atmosphere, the "World Energy Council Instruments with the Particular Reference to the Energy Trilemma for 2024" Conference took place in the new library of the National University for Science and Technology Politechnica Bucharest, bringing together experts, researchers and students in the discussion sessions, but also in the audience. The participants had the opportunity to attend presentations by opinion leaders in the energy field regarding the points of the triangle of the Energy Trilemma for Romania.

The Panel discussions stimulated interactive debates, addressing the challenges and opportunities brought by the three main discussion topics of the conference. Based on these multilateral conversations during the conference, the country-level profile will be compiled with the main support of WEC/RNC advisors.
