The Vienna Energy Security Dialogue 2024 Edition

The World Energy Council Austria invites you to this year's edition of the Vienna Energy Security Dialogue. The event will take place on Tuesday, the 8th of October between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM on the premises of the Federation of Austrian Industries, Schwarzenbergplatz 4, 1030 Vienna.
The Vienna Energy Security Dialogue is a leading international forum to gather decision-makers from companies, politics, academia and civil society to discuss opportunities and challenges of the energy transition. It is jointly organised by the World Energy Council Austria, the OSCE, the Federation of Austrian Industries, and EY Austria.
Under the theme: Energy Security in The Long Run: managing Energy Systems with wise foresight, this year's edition will cover the following topics:
- Energy Security in a Shifting World: The Geopolitics of Stable Supply and Efficient Use
- A Balancing Act: Supply Chains, Grid Balance, and Regulatory Support to Ensure a Rapid and Secure Energy Transition
- No Mitigation without Adaption: Increasing Energy System Preparedness for Climate Risks
- Innovation and Energy: Implementing Digital and Data-Driven Solutions to Enhance Energy Security in the Long Run
- Interactive Panel on Energy Education, Efficiency and Inclusivity for Enhanced Energy Security
