Reminder: deadline for call for nominations to the FEL-100 group is 25 February.
A short update on what the five new groups in the various countries have done so far:

Austria: had their first meeting in October to discuss their programme for 2016 with one of their key aims being to network.

Zimbabwe: “Youth in Energy” was the theme of their first meeting which was held during Zimbabwe’s Clean Energy Week at the end of September.

Nigeria: their group has been active since July with an exciting programme that includes a proposal for a paper entitled ‘The study of perception of youth on energy poverty in Nigeria’.

Egypt: launched their group in March and are holding regular meetings and seminars on the challenges facing the energy industry.

New Zealand: set up a group in February and are regularly in contact with each other discussing energy issues that affect New Zealand as well global issues.
