World Energy Council welcomes 17 new members to the global Future Energy Leaders programme
The World Energy Council is pleased to announce the addition of 17 new members to its global Future Energy Leaders programme, the Council's platform to support and promote the energy leaders of tomorrow. Members of the global Future Energy Leaders program are exceptional young professionals who share a commitment to shaping the future of energy, solving the world's most pressing challenges in energy and sustainability, and engaging in national, regional and global dialogues to fulfil our Humanising Energy vision.
This year, we welcomed nominations from our National Member Committees only. The Council's 2022 global Future Energy Leaders community represents almost 60 countries and every continent, with members from diverse backgrounds within all areas of the energy ecosystem including government, business and industry, academia and research, finance, IGOs, NGOs, oil and gas, renewables , technology, innovation and start-ups, engineering and construction, and utilities.
