Andrea completed her university studies at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional del Ecuador (EPN) where she obtained her degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating, she started working as an analyst for electrical and energy studies at the Agency for Regulation and Control of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (ARCERNNR). As part of her professional career, she has collaborated in the elaboration of the Statistics of the Ecuadorian Electricity Sector, the Electricity Master Plan, Electricity Demand Projection Studies, and the Generation Expansion Plan. She is specialized in carrying out energy analysis used as support for the development of the Electricity Sector Regulations; Since 2021, she has been working on the development of the Sustainable Mobility Plan for the Electricity Sector. In 2022, she participated in the XXXVI National Seminar of the Ecuadorian Electricity Sector, where she obtained the first place at the energy area with the witten work: "Iterative Analysis of the Levelized Cost of Energy for Generation Technologies from the municipal solid waste. She is currently studying a Master's Degree in Renewable Energies at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
