Daniel is an energy professional with a career spanning Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, and Smart Grid Solutions & Technologies. He holds an Electrical/Electronics engineering degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, an MBA from Quantic School of Technology, and a Project Management certificate from Cornel University, USA. He is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), USA. Daniel was named the Young Energy Professional, Sub-Saharan Africa by AEE in 2018. He is currently the Technical Compliance & NPI Project Manager at SparkMeter Inc, a company offering grid-management solutions that enable utilities in emerging markets to run profitable, efficient, and reliable systems. His role entails supporting the achievement of regulatory compliance in the countries they serve, influencing and informing regulatory and product evolution, as well as project-managing new product introductions.
