Assistant Vice President, Group Strategy & Projects (GCEO Office), Sembcorp Industries Ltd

Jeffrey Du is currently an Assistant Vice President with Sembcorp Industries Ltd, a Temasek-linked company headquartered in Singapore and listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Sembcorp has a balanced energy portfolio of more than 20GW, with more than 14GW of gross renewable energy capacity, across 10 countries.

He joined Sembcorp in March 2022 and is with the Group Strategy & Projects team under the Group CEO Office. Before Sembcorp, he was a Senior Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions team of Singapore Power, exploring renewable asset acquisitions in Vietnam and China.

Prior to that, he was an Investment Manager with SJ Capital, the investment and asset management arm of Surbana Jurong Group, another Temasek-linked company that provides urban and infrastructure technical consultancy solutions. His responsibilities include deal origination and evaluation for investments in the urban and infrastructure sectors in South-East Asia and China. Jeffrey started his career at KPMG Deal Advisory (Corporate Finance and Valuations) team.

Jeffrey graduated from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) and a second specialisation in Banking and Finance. He was a recipient of the KPMG - Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) in 2014.
