Kasweka Konga is a Lawyer specialising in energy and infrastructure transactions. I hold an LLM in Energy Law from Queen Mary University of London and an LLB from the University of Kent. My career is distinguished by significant contributions to various landmark energy projects, including a project management role for Zambia's first utility-scale battery energy storage system at Africa GreenCo. In 2024, I completed the Open Africa Power Program organised by Sustainable Energy for All and the Enel Foundation, as one of the top 12 students. Additionally, I participated in the 2019 Power Africa: Women in African Power Program, both of which have enhanced my knowledge and leadership skills, and expanded my network.

In my professional journey, I'm deeply committed to championing the just energy transition. To me, it's not just a theoretical concept; but a guiding principle that informs my work. My unique blend of legal expertise, project management experience, and international exposure positions me as a strong candidate for the Future Energy Leaders Programme, where I aim to contribute to global transformative energy solutions.
