Miguel is a multidisciplinary professional with eight years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on Latin American and European electric power markets. His expertise includes business development in distribution, transmission, and generation projects, power commercialization and PPA deals, as well as commercial and regulatory advisory for private and public institutions. He has worked in Peru as an Associate for LQG Energy & Mining, a boutique consulting firm, and as Head of Legal and Head of Business Development for CVC Energía, a utility specialized in developing power networks in non-connected rural areas with high growth potential. Currently, he works as Senior PPA Transactions Associate for Pexapark, a Swiss award-winning enterprise software and advisory company specialized in renewable energy. Miguel is also a Co-Founder of Perú Young Energy Professionals (PYEP), the first multidisciplinary NGO empowering the participation of young professionals of all backgrounds in the Peruvian energy industry. PYEP was chosen to be part of the UN’s Youth Sustainable Energy Hub. He holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge (UK) and a Law Degree from Universidad del Pacífico (Perú).
