Mogale Modisane has been involved in the energy sector for almost 7 years, having worked as an infrastructure asset manager, renewable energy consultant and now as a technical lead within the renewable energy development team within ENGIE in South Africa. Professionally he has been actively involved in the pre-feasibility to construction of grid scale solar and hybrid energy storage facilities. He is professionally registered (PrENG) as an engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and is an active member and participant in various voluntary associations and industry bodies locally, namely the South African National Energy Association (SANEA) and South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEEE). Mogale is also very visible across multiple industry platforms often engaging at national conferences as a speaker or panelist, focused on highlighting key issues affecting youth as the world undergoes an energy transition.
