Ramit Kalia is a dedicated clean energy enthusiast with over a decade of professional experience in advancing energy transition, climate-change mitigation, and sustainable development. His commitment to tackling complex energy issues has earned him recognition at both national and international levels. He is currently working as a Technical Officer at the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India (on deputation from Engineers India Limited). He possesses experience in policy formulation, data analytics, governance, and alternative fuels. He has received appreciation letters from apex-level government officials and commendations from leading international organisations for his valuable contributions. He regularly provides valuable input to senior officials in the government, industry, and international Organizations. He continues to shape public discourse in India through his writings as well as speaking sessions. He has been recognized as India's Green Energy & Climate Leader of Tomorrow - 30 under 30 in 2022 by EQ magazine.

Ramit has penned an editorial on 'Energy Independence through Hydrogen' for India's leading national daily, The Hindu, and frequently addresses as a keynote speaker and panellist at various summits and conferences on energy transition. His contributions to national and international energy reports are notable, including authoring the 'Energy Data Management' report under a sub-group constituted by NITI Aayog and a report on 'Mining, Fuel & Power' for the revision of the base year for the Wholesale Price Index (WPI). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Thapar University, has completed a Management Development Programme on Public-Private Partnership from IIM Indore, and has taken an Energy Statistics Course from the International Energy Agency in Paris. Additionally, he has been honoured with the 'Executive of the Year' and 'Team Innovation' awards at Engineers India Limited.
