Scientific Advisor, Division of Climate and Energy, Bavarian Environment Agency

As a scientific advisor and an ambassador for renewable hydrogen at the Division of Climate and Energy of the Bavarian Environment Agency, Robin is addressing and navigating the energy transition on a regional scale. He wants to inspire the people to take responsibility and play an active role in the energy transition. Robin is an award-winning scientist and communicator and with his background in nanoscience/physics, he bridges the gap between the technical side and the socio-economic part of the energy transition. He eventually became interested in working at the interface between science, politics and economy when he was part of the Model United Nations 2016 Delegation from the University in Regensburg, Germany.

During his studies, he was also travelling around the world including a research internship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He speaks 5 languages and together with his interest in different cultures, his vision as a future energy leader is a socially just and sustainable energy transition where everyone can be part of it.
