Rocío Sallés

Rocío Sallés is a mechanical industrial engineer graduated from the School of Engineering of UdelaR. Through continuous training, she has acquired diverse knowledge and tools related to energy generation and energy transition. Moreover, she has participated in different research projects within the School of Engineering of UdelaR. She is currently working at Ingener, forming part of the HVAC team in what will be the largest pulp mill in the country and also a major contributor of electricity from biomass to the energy matrix of Uruguay. Within Ingener, she has been able to generate varied experience working in the different areas that involve a project, from budgeting to operation and maintenance. Related to the energy sector, she has worked in the company as responsible of the maintenance contract with two power plants which generate electricity from biomass. Ingener is the largest electrical infrastructure construction company in Uruguay. It is an expert company in engineering, construction, commissioning and operation and maintenance services for the energy, industry and services sector.
