Siaw Yang Loong is a Senior Executive, at New Energy Venture, Sarawak Energy. Siaw Yang Loong joined Sarawak Energy in September 2018, entrusted with providing in-depth analysis of trends and business opportunities in New Energy and leading the implementation of strategic projects to advance the company's sustainable energy agenda. Before joining Sarawak Energy, Siaw gained valuable experience in process improvement and project implementation in the palm oil industry at Subur Tiasa where his involvement in biomass power generation projects ignited his interest in Sarawak clean energy development.

Currently, Siaw plays a pivotal role in several new energy initiatives at Sarawak Energy, including Utility Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems and Renewable Energy Certificates. He has also been involved in the development of Sarawak's post-COVID Development Strategy for the Renewable Energy sector. Siaw is deeply committed to driving Sarawak’s sustainable energy development through his expertise in state-of-the-art emerging technologies and trends in clean energy solutions.

Siaw holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d'électrotechnique, d'électronique, d'informatique, d'hydraulique et des télécommunications in Toulouse, France.
