On the Road to World Energy
Congress 2027 Riyadh

The challenge is no longer simply how we transform energy systems, but how we evolve the leadership needed for the next century of energy.

Energy leaders are operating in a profoundly shifting and turbulent terrain. Long-held global commitments are being challenged, requiring leaders to rebalance priorities and rethink transformational opportunities

This moment calls for open and honest dialogue, for practical understanding, and for collective stewardship of more resilient and abundant, people-centred energy futures.

Co-hosted by the World Energy Council and our French Member Committee (Conseil Français de l’Energie), the World Energy Leaders’ Dialogue is designed to respond to this moment by convening leaders from across the increasingly fragmented landscape, spanning government, business, finance, technology and civil society. Under the theme Rebalancing energy: Trade-offs and transformations, the Dialogue will explore the energy leadership choices that really matter, and enhance individual and collective leadership understanding.

As a strategic milestone on the road to the World Energy Congress 2027 in Riyadh, Paris will provide the first opportunity for global leaders to test ideas, challenge each other and shape the conversations that will define the Congress agenda. Together, participants will explore three defining questions:

1
What must we rebalance to create stronger energy systems for the next century?
2
Where are new models of leadership and cooperation already reshaping the energy landscape?
3
How do we create the conditions for people, businesses and nations to flourish together?
